Ganellen NZ partners with the Auckland Blues

Ganellen is proud to announce our sponsorship of the Blues High Performance Programme.

As a business we believe in developing in-house potential with strong support, coaching and mentorship. That’s why we’re excited to offer our long-term backing to an organisation who share the same vision and values. Like the Blues, our goal is to cultivate an environment of success and high-performance amongst our team for the greater good of the community.

With a focus on building the Blues of tomorrow, we will become the official ‘Blues High Performance Programme’ partner, U’17, U’18s and U’20 squad teams.

In tandem, Ganellen will be offering scholarship opportunities to local talent, and seeking more ways to support community rugby in Auckland.

We see this partnership as more than just putting our logo on a jersey. It’s about a deeper level of connection between Ganellen, The Blues, and the greater Auckland community. We’ll open our doors to all Blues players to progress their careers both on, and off the field.

The similarities between construction and rugby are overt. Both involve working in close knit teams, discipline, commitment, and taking great pride in what you do.

Despite being from the wrong side of the Tasman, Mitch Blunden, Ganellen NZ Director knows all too well how important rugby is to the Auckland community.

I’ve loved rugby all my life, and the Blues have been my team since moving to Auckland. It’s a privilege to be involved in their future success. Mitch Blunden, NZ Director

Since relocating from Christchurch to Auckland, Ganellen has been an active participant in the local community.

Keystone Trust Partnership
In 2018, Ganellen became a involved of Keystone Trust, helping disadvantaged young people find their way into the construction industry.

Eat My Lunch New Zealand
The Ganellen team recently took time out to make and pack lunches to Kiwi kids who’d otherwise go without.

Sport & Social
Ganellen team members thrive on healthy competition, and survive on letting their hair down. You’ll find a Ganellen team participating in local competitions, fun runs and charity events. Or celebrating the everyday wins at local favourites like Danny Doolan’s.

We look forward to 2020 and our future relationship with the Blues, their fans and the Auckland community.

Whatever it takes!

Ganellen is currently working on three Auckland based projects.
